Flower makes awe-worthy clothes, takes great pictures, has impeccable style, and is always polite. Suffice to say, I hate her with a fiery passion and cannot wait to move across the country away from her. I kid, I kid. I love her completely. We took these while she was trying to help me pack for my trip…proof positive that lighting makes cracked out people look much prettier and more romantic!

(and can i just say?) I was reading an editorial in an unnamed (ha!) fancy fash mag that actually said “Braids? DON’T EVEN!” I have to disagree, my dears. Long messy scraggly braids and crunchy strands are doing it for me, and I don’t think they are going anywhere soon. This may have something to do with why I am feeling this so much..suckerrrrr for styling.

I also dig Comme Des Garcons drapey plaid tartan overlays, ThreeAsFour’s collab with Yoko Ono (a nod to her Cut Piece) even though it could have been better (don’t kill me!) and don’t even start with me, Hussein Chalayan. Seriously.

no but really? make it in black and I will sell whatever I have to to get this. wear it with the alexander mcqueen skull clutch. gahhhh. ok enough with the unrealistic stuff.

Ain’t that the troof. Like for example, (beside the many grating ways that life has been teaching me this lesson)I want every single tee shirt, tank and tunic I have seen from the most recent Obesity and Speed collection. The shirts look like they are made out of a tissue. Dying. But at 70ish euros a pop, it doesn’t look good for me…. Maybe Seizure Palace will make me a fakey fakerson (shhhh)…

Rekindled my love for Jenny Holzer yesterday after a lovely afternoon of canoeing, laundry and excessive cigarette smoking with Flower. Speaking of which, I got a sneak peak at her FALL 09 collection and it it completely mind-blowing. Hope ya’ll get to it before I do!
